Not really. If you’re looking at consuming more vegetables in your diet, i wouldn't count condensed soup. There is so much sugar, and salt and the tomato is so processed, you are not really getting the same benefits that you would from consuming a serving of steamed or raw veggies. When it comes to any foods, including fruits and veggies, it is always ideal to consume it in the least process form, i.e. whole!

It is usually considered a free food and not countable towards your daily intake of vegetables.
Most diet programs think about tomatoes and such free foods due to the lack of calories and such.
Look at the label to see the sugar and salt milligrams….
