When they're one in the same, basically. The only difference is when you don't eat — you're out of energy. When you do drugs, you're not eating and you're full of energy. So what, you just burn copious amounts of calories when you're speeding balls?

Answer:
Yeah, that's pretty much it. Drugs like cocaine and speed suppress appetite and give you lots of energy, so you keep burning more calories than you're consuming and that's how you lose weight.

Answer:
well not eating slows your metabolism (the speed at which your body uses its stored nutrients) to a say that your body needs to make your stores last as long as possible.

so if you are trying to lose weight, eating enough is better than eating none.

but yes, I suppose, the artificial energy indeed grants for calorie burning with eating. even though it isn’t suggested.

Answer:
lower hunger while the body starves
