Fat people should have no need to cry, it's not like where your born without legs and can't do anything about it. With obesity all you need to do is lose weight and your life will be happier. Why do people who are obese act like they can't help.
Answer:
Because once you're Obese it is very hard to lose weight due to health issues that complicate your ability to lose weight. Not to mention narrow-minded jerks who fail to see this and are cruel to them and treat them as though they’re second class citizens. A healthy amount of weight to lose is only about 3 pounds a week, which someone who is state 200 pounds over weight would need over a year to get to a healthy weight. This is assuming they still lose 3 pounds each week even though water weight, holidays, and occassional treats that everyone even healthy people enjoy, all hinder the ability to do that. Try runninga long time if you’ve asthma, and health problems. It's not that simple. You should show more compassion toward others. Also some people WERE born overweight and their parents shoveled food into their mouths from childhood causing them to have a life long struggle with food through no choice or fault of their own.
Answer:
They cry because they try.
They try to lose weight but they keep failing.
When you state “all you need to do is lose weight”…it’s not that simple.
Some will try to eat less and just doom themselves to a lower metabolism.
Others (Hello, Oprah…) will surround themselves with incompetent nincompoops (I love Oprah but she should fire her cook, her dietician, her nutritionist, her trainer…so she would not have to eat chicken each day and have to use exercise machines that she hates).
They might have legs but it’s hard to walk when you have extra weight. Try to walk carrying another person and let me know how that goes…
I’m 125lbs but if I would pretend to be 200lbs and have to carry a 75lbs bag…I wouldn’t go very far…and I would certainly not be jogging.
Answer:
Well I guess if they cry they’re just upset about it and they probably do try hard, and at the other extreme, i cry because I’ve an eating disorder, people tell me I have the ability to do something about it, but when you get down to it the fear I’ve of gaining weight is so intense that I cant eat normally.
But its the excuses that fat people use that are ridiculous. “I have hypothyroidism (slower metabolism)” “Its in the genes” “Im huge boned” “I can't get skinny, its how im built” Its so stupid!
Oh and like the above saying “its not what you eat” Well actualy it is, you dont start out fat, you eat a lot to get there, its harder to lose though. And if you hardly eat anything your metabolism is so slow that you’ll gain weight!
Answer:
OMG Are you serious… Please , you don't know if all those who are over weight are like that cause they just eat all the time. Some people just have a much harder time loosing their weight. And also some people that are shorter then others might look larger then taller people but they are actually lighter in weight.
Now I do agree that if all you do is stuff your face and do nothing about it then its harder to understand , but again , what do you think they might be going through in life. it could be there way of copping. Why do Drug adtics cry , or people who drink , they can also do something to.
Im A larger girl and weither u believe it or not I barely eat at all but I can't seem to loose the weight as simple as others. So Don't be so one minded.
Answer:
They’re emotional when instead, they should learn to be disciplined and control their lifestyle. If you lack the discipline to not eat that entire chocolate cake, you deserve to be fat.
Other times it is lack of education. Some people truly do not know the difference between saturated and unsaturated fats, do not know that cheese contains a lot of saturated fat, and that eating an excessive amount of pizza and donuts will make you fat.
Answer:
The phrase overweight signifies varying things to varying people. It's a good idea to set off at the beginning, and ascertain whether you’re really overweight for your size or not, by calculating your BMI (Body Mass Index). You can learn how to do it at the site in the box below, they’ve lots of instruction, I lost 8 pounds by following their helpful advice.
Answer:
I'm overweight. I admit it. And while it's generally easier for guys to lose weight, I don't. Why? Because my knees hurt ALL THE TIME. I realize that if I were to lose weight, then my knees would be under stressed, but at the same time, it's exceptionally painful to even attempt to do so. Why do my knees hurt so bad every hour of every day? There’s no single answer. Could be the weight I'm carrying around. Could be the job I do. Could be the tissue scarring and schrapnel my knees collected overseas.
Don't go judging people by the way they look. You have NO IDEA what their life has been like.
Answer:
Well shame on me. All this time I've been going to visits with a dietician, running and swimming each day, and tracking my weight, and now I find out that it's just THAT easy. That's ALL you have to do. Just “do something about it” and you won't be overweight anymore.
Child, I've been “doing something about it” for 5 years but I actually have been diagnosed with PCOS so it's not like I have the ability to just run on a treadmill and end up 5 sizes smaller. If it was that easy, I wouldn't be a size 14.
But what you don't seem to comprehend is…my happiness in life isn’t dependent on my weight loss. Me being skinnier isn't going to make me any happier. Sure, I'll be able to wear more clothes and can go to the beach without a leg wrap, but I will still have the same personality, the same goals, the same husband. The only thing that’s dependent on my weight is my health and even then, skinny people aren't necessarily healthier.
Answer:
People don’t realize how cruel society is to fat people until it is too late. Its hard to fight back when you're down. Women have many more unwritten expectations on health and beauty than men. I do not feel bad about wearing colors that do not match or not shaving. My girlfriend would not leave the house without at least some kind of grooming. Its just the way Americans silently agreed to operate.
Answer:
That's pretty awful to say. I had a friend who was overweight her whole life and still is. I've known her since grade 4. She exercised, she dieted, she even tried starving herself [eating like one bagel for the whole day and thats it] and her weight still went no where. She's tried and tried and nothing is working for her. She cant help it.
