It this too much food for me too loose weight?

For workouts i usually run 7 miles on a treadmill at 7 mph or higher every other day and the days i don't run i have ballet class. I also like to do a long run of 7.5 miles outside on Sundays under an hour.

Breakfast: Instant Oatmeal with a cup of special K on top

3:00 a.m: I have a small all natural Protein low fat smoothie with bannans and strawberrys in it at our gym

Dinner: 1.I’ve a Turkey cranberry wrap and a side salad with no calorie dressing and a slice of cake(b/c my mother fears i will loose too much weight with my workout schedule)

Or I have on days i have Ballet

2. Chef salad with a small turkey sandwich and some Fat free frozen yogurt with a cookie,(for desert b/c my mom makes me eat desert)

I sometimes have a handful of 50 calorie puff cereal

Answer:
Hun, you're not eating enough. If you're running 7 miles, then you can eat practically anything. Your body needs it for energy.

If you're looking to lose weight, you should still be eating more protein. Egg whites, chicken breast, beans, and skim milk should be eaten regularly. There's not enough turkey on a wrap. Remember that protein will build lean muscle, and actually make you appear thinner. Whatever your weight is, divide by 2, and that's how many grams of protein your body needs daily (or you'll lose muscle).

Track your calories. With your work out schedule, you should be eating NO LESS than 1800 calories a day.

Answer:
it's really not about how much food you eat, actually if you keep your body constantly full of fuel, it won't have to store any thing and will burn calories and fat way easier. You should get the book by bill phillips called eating for life. it tells you how what you’re eating makes certain chemicals in your body work better and it gives you recipes too! it's really a great book. even if you don't workout, the recipes are much more healthy than what people normaly eat! I hope this helps! What you’re eating sounds okay, I would try and only have desert occasionally if you are seriouse about weight loss. unless it's something sugar free and low in fat and calories! seriously though, look into the book i mentioned. i have it now and i have noticed a big difference!
