The summer holidays have left me with more weight than I had before them. There’s no way I can do anymore excise than I am doing now - I walk around two miles a day. I hate walking. ^^;

Soo, that leaves me with food. School food consists of chips and fruit.I hate fruit but chips are not a good way for me to drop the pounds.

I am thinking about converting to packed lunch mode.

Keeping in mind that I hate fruit and vegetables, what could go in it that’ll help my figure shrink?

Answer:
A meal I used to love for my lunch was cold pasta with chicken and sweetcorn. It was great cause it kept me filled up until dinner time, and it was easy to cook and make the night before. A good idea is not to have the same lunch everyday - it gets boring and makes you want chips - i have lived it! Have a bit of variety, bagels, wraps, rolls, sandwiches, salads! I also used to love soup. Bring it in a thermos! Ummm…I had a microwave in school too, which meant i could heat up the night befores dinner to give a bit of a change. As for snacks…if you don't like fruit, how about a cereal bar?

Hope this is a bit helpful! I hated school dinners - too much fried food. And learnt how to add a bit of variety. Drop us an email if you want any good recipies!

If you think you don't like fruits and veggies, then you're not going to like http://veganlunchbox.blogspot.com/ or a plethora of other sites I could give you. Besides fruis and veggies there is also all-natural whol grain, beans and soy.

Also, these sites might be of some interest as well. Or, likely not.

(Some of these I can't post as links because I will go over the ten link limit.)

well, you do need to eat fruits and vegetables- there must be some that you like? good ones to pack in lunches are: grapes, apples, pears, bananas, strawberries, plums

but anyway, make sure to eat complex carbs protein because it keeps you filled up with not many calories. for example, whole wheat bread and turkey or peanut butter.

Answer:
You could bring some kind of low salt nut mix (like a trail mix). Protein should keep you less hungry.

Or a whole wheat meat sandwich (light on the mayo lol). Maybe suffer a tomato or some lettuce ;)

Whole wheats keep you more full and they don't turn to sugar like white starches.

Drink a lot of water during the day. That helps me too.

When I was recently on a diet, I used to take into work chicken and potatoes cooked in blended herbs that I had made the night before. Or what about pasta with tuna?
