I'm 12 YO and I am a massive time couch potato. I am at a healthy weight b/c I eat very little such as:
Breakfast- One Scrambled Egg and a small amount of hash browns
Lunch- 4 Crackers, a small package of Ranch Dressing, 1 slice of cheese, 4pieces of meat (two ham, two turkey) OR a small sandwich and a very small bag of chips
Snack- Usually a Chocolate Chip Muffin or a 5 Pringles
Dinner- Usually something simple– Small Omelet, Small bowl of corn and piece of chicken, or 4 Mozzarella Sticks.
I really want to get moving but at the same time… I don't.
I’m CONSTANTLY on the computer.
I am very self conscious so dancing probably won't happen. My Mother is usually pretty busy so I probably have to play outside in the yard or inside. I have no clue how to get moving. Any help?

Set yourself a time to stay off the computer - state… a week. If you can manage to d that, reward yourself at the end of that week with something other than junk food , such as a nice fruit smoothie or a gossip magazine.
Eat more fruit and veg and protein and drink milk more often.
You don't need to join a club to get fit - you can do jogging or walking or swimming or tennis or basketball with some friends. Don't try to do too much at once as you will find you will give up more easily and may injure yourself.
Start small - such as a 20 minute walk everyday then slowly start adding more different activites into your routine.

Maybe you could try doing something simple while you're on the computer, like instead of sitting do a few squats or lunges or leg lifts. I do that while I do boring activities like washing the dishes. Or maybe you could jump rope, it's really good for you and you could take quick 5 minute breaks from the computer to jump, then rest a tiny at the personal, then jump some more.

take up a sport, it really helps. Learn how to play soccer, and trust me, u will get addicted. since ur 12, u should be in school, and Im sure you could learn to play soccer there. Its also a great way of making friends
