I do cardio 5 times a week for an hour. As of last week i lost 25 pounds total and have 30 more to go so i want to start doing push ups since im going to be enlisting in the military. I did 50 today after my hour work out. Would it be okay to do 30-50 a day 5 times a week with my cardio? Or should i only do them every other day?
Answer:
When resistance training (whether it be pushups, weight lifting, etc.), you should give your body a 48-hour recoup time on that particular muscle group.
You can do your cardio daily, but do your push-ups each other day and try putting lunges, squats, and crunches on the other days.

Doing push ups at any time is fine. You should be fine doing them daily.
