im 15 years old, 5'4 and i weigh 140. im overweight and out of shape. I just exercised for 45 mintues. i went up and down one of those 'steps'. and im sweating a lot. If i try to run or lift weights i run out of breath so this is the only type of exercise i can do. Is 45 mintues enough? will i lose some weight if i do this each day and eat healthy?

A very good way to improve your abs is to do planks. You balance on your arms and toes for as least 45 seconds, take a 30 break and try another one. You should try to do at least 3 each other day and you will improve your abs very much.

You can also do leg-lifts and wall-sits to improve leg muscle mass and push ups for your arms. just remember: to get in shape and lose weight, it takes time, determination, effort, and healthy eating!

well, if your medical conditions are all good enough that you can lift weights, then you should try lifting weights, if your running out of breath, that's fine, the point of lifting weights and exercise is to improve, so its natural to not do so well in the beginning, just set your goals and go for it, just don't over-do it in the beginning.
