What on earth is lounge pants?

I’ve heard of this but never knew what it is except it is a pair of pants.. any tips.. i live in australia so i have no idea

Basically it is exactly what it states it is…….pants you'd wear to lounge around the house in. Typically they don't mean sweats (but they have the ability to be too), but pants of a lighter, baggier fabric……(I have a pair, but I sleep in them as pajamas).
