i wanted my brown hair to be dirty blond. so i used box dye and it changed my hair to like an orange color. i don’t have money for a hair person to dye my hair. what do i do?

First of all, If there’s any way at all for you to see a professional, do so.
Second, the reason you ended up with orange is because a lot of brown hair has red tones. You stripped out the brown and left the red, then added some yellow and got orange.
Lastly, the only thing I can recommend is going a shade of red brown or a cool brown if you can't afford to see a stylist.

You need to get a purple toner to cancel out the red undertones in your hair. Sally Beauty sells it in store and on the internet but I really doubt drugstores will carry toners.

This is a good toner, the shade you want depends on how light you want your hair to be.

You could try dying it back to brown,
wait a few days, and then bleach it and try dying it blonde again .
Be careful when you bleach it though or your
hair could fall out and then you wouldn't have
anything to dye at all . x|

you could try to bleach it again, or go darker, like black, brown or even red. Its just hair,….cut it off if you’ve to, itll grow back. Have fun with it
