My homecoming dress falls to my knees and is a thick halter around the neck. Would an updo or wearing my hair down look better? My hair is dark brown, normal white skin tone.

DEFINATLEY up. I advocate either a messy bun or neat one, or up in a butterfly clip both with some strands hanging down around your face
