Will L'oreal Color Pulse temp. dye hold better in hair that has been recently washed, or in hair that is slightly dirty/greasy? (I have oily skin; I need to wash it nearly each day for it to be acceptable.)
I'm dying different strands all over my head; when I'm rinsing it out, should I try to keep the dyed parts separate so the dye (as it rinses out) doesn't run on the un-dyed hair, or will that not matter?
Answer:
To the first question you should always dye your hair when it's dirty because it is less susceptible to doing anyting dangerous to you because when your hairs is clean the pores are open and that's dangerous.
To the second as long as the dyed parts don't touch the undyed parts during the dyeing process I don't belive it will seep to the un-dyed parts when washing it. Good Luck ![]()
Answer:
Usually the packaging on hair dyes will say to use on slightly dirty hair- washed in the morning and dyed in the evening or even the next day. As far as rinsing goes, I don't think it will matter too much to try and keep the dyed strands away from the others.
