ive checked caring consumers.com and other websites and they all say different things. i really dont wana support any company that has 2 test on animals when there are other alternatives to it.

Lancome does unfortunately test on animals. They are part of the L'oreal group but keep in mind that not all products part of this group test on animals. The Body Shop recently joined L'oreal and have not sacrificed any of their prinicples and standards. They were bought out by L'oreal because the company wanted to move in a new direction, a direction without animal testing. It will take time for them to get to that point but in the meantime read up about each brand individually and find out about their practices.
