Hi, my money on makeup is running a tiny low after ..well after sephora in general. I noticed that my coverups done, and i can't go out and purchase the same kind, because i dont have that type of money :(. Does anyone know a good brand that covers acne scars, and a few dark sunburns well?

Answer:
My favorite brand is L'oreal True Match. It works like wonders.

There are great items for a pittance. How do I know that? Surprise! I'm the “Drugstore Deal” reviewer for one of the Web's largest and most respected sites, www.megsmakeup.com. (My name is Gigi and my work appears on Thursday; I've written for other sites.) You won't see my review tomorrow (I asked someone else to try to do it), as I lost my mom a few days ago and it's hard to concentrate for more than two minutes.

Check out the answers and archives there, as they address items from dirt-cheap to obscenely expensive. I concur with another reader–Wet 'n Wild is great and totally affordable (their mineral makeup is comparable to name brands). Jane has a stackable set of items “Mineral Round Blocks to Beauty.” For $9.99, you receive mineral foundation which covers and actually is good for your skin, along with a bronzer, four perfectly coordinated eyeshadows, two cool blush shades, and four flattering lip glosses. I'm also a large fan of Physician's Formula products. I used to model, and I learned that tinted concealer works far superior than neutral for many reasons. If you’ve scars and acne, green will disguise the red which makes you self-conscious. Suggestion: Use a brush to dot on concealer to cover the blemishes, not all of your skin. Try using a lightweight, translucent powder to keep concealer or makeup in place and apply subtly again. Less is more. If you select a heavy foundation, it draws more attention to your problems. Avoid ingredients with oil, as your makeup may fade up and aggravate acne. Hope that helps!

Answer:
Cover Girl Invisible Concealer.

I’ve some pimple issues, redness, etc and this stuff covers it up wonderfully!

I purchased it at Wal-Mart for about $6. I’ve had it for about 6 months now and it is still going.

It is a nice creamy texture that blends into a matte finish. It lasts for a while, but I like to add a dusting of loose powder for extra staying power.

I hope you get the chance to try it!

Answer:
Two great affordable concealers are NYX's Concealer in a Jar and Rimmel's Hide The Blemish. If you're looking for something a bit more heavy duty, L'Oreal's Infallible should do the job.

Answer:
I also like L'oreal true match and i think its maybelline (not sure) Infallable it was fantastic a tiny heavy though but great coverage and stays on for a long time.

Answer:
Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation. It covers well without feeling heavy.

Answer:
i have friends that wear makeup, and they love Wet n Wild cosmetics. they're very reasonably priced.
