Witch Hazel. It's extracted from plants, is very natural and it works amazingly. There are several different types on the market, there's a Clarins one for around $60, but the best one I've found is the one that you can get from your local grocery store. I think It's called T.N. Dickinson's or something, for about $3. It works really well and gets rid of pimples and acne, and is soft enough for use on young skin.

Hope I helped :)

I'm not sure how natural you're wanting, but I found some interesting “home made” facial toners.

One states to clean your face thoroughly using any natural cleanser. Then apply raw egg whites to the skin and leave on for at least 15 minutes. Wash off with tepid water.

Here are two others.

Lemony Lavender Toner

3 drops lemon oil

3 drops lavender oil 3 teaspons of distilled water

Use a soft cotton ball to massage mixture into the skin after cleansing. Follow with a moisturizer if desired.

Protein Toner

Beat together:

1 Tbsp milk

1 tsp honey

1 egg

Apply to face and neck areas. Leave on as long as desired. Rinse off with warm water followed by a splash of cold.

A lot of other options on that site include witch hazel blended with some various things, so maybe just using witch hazel is a way to play it safe.

I have 2 favourites…that are both natural and affordable.

I use them because i have sensitive/combination skin that most products either make it too oily, too dry, or too irritated.

The first one is rosewater spray…I use one by Jurleque in a white bottle that i buy from health stores, but, if your in AUS you can purchase it from and big department store.

The next one i use a lot is witch hazel. This is very cheap, but gives AMAZING results. I found my pores were tightened and my skin was clearer in 1 week of using it after i sanitized my skin. Simply put some on a cotton pad and wipe over your face and neck. You can buy witch hazel at any health store, chemist, or department store.

All of the above ^^^ :)

Combination or oily- witch hazel

dry or 'normal'- rose water or (my favorite currently) lavendar water, oh, yum.

Both at the health food store, where they’ll have a ton of toners, at least half of which will be witch hazel based.

I've also found that the 'kiss my face' and 'alba' soaps are so good and so mild, I don't really need a toner after them.
