Make up issues?

Author: admin

If I put on eye shadow, you can't tell b/c the way my eyes are. If I wear any type of make up I break out a lot. I’ve rosacea so it doesn't really help .. what do you recommend?

Answer:
Sounds like 'hooded' eyes to me [ think Claudia Schiffer, Jenna Elfman, Elaine Irwin ]

1] all makeup/face products should be hypoallergenic

2] should also be non-comedogenic [ doesn't block pores, which causes zits ]

3] eyes:

a] hooded eyes have to do shadows differently, for best results.

b] put medium shadow on lids, and blend up to brow bone [ make hoods 'recede' in appearance ]

DO NOT put light or sparkly shadow on brow bone!

c] apply darkest shadow in crease of lid, blending up and out at corners [ 'lifts' the eye corner ]

d] dab a tiny bit of the lightest shadow on inner corner of eyes, by bridge of nose; and just above outer corner of eye

[ brightens entire eye area ]

This takes PRACTICE - do it at home several times, before a dance, etc.

e] club/dance/party - add liner and mascara in black or soft black

4] for each day, try a liner/mascara in a color that matches brows or hair, whichever is darker

a] use a skinny line of liner, along lashlines ONLY - can lift the line up a little at outer corner of top lid [ again, illusion of lift ]

b] curl lashes before using mascara

c] a little blush, and some lip color - you are gorgeous!

Answer:
try smokymountainminerals foundation make-up. it has nothing in it to harm your skin & in fact has healing zinc in it to help any redness or issue you're having.

Bare minerals & the other ones all have bismuth in them & lots of strong color pigmentation. Liquids & creams have mineral oil if not specified that it doesnt. That's no good either. that's probably what's causing your issues right there.

About eye shadows– lets not worry about that til we take care of the other.

Good luck.

Answer:
Mineral make ups are pretty good. But tinted moisturizers are even superior you get even skin moisture and sunblock all in one. As for the eyes you should bring ur crease up a little but but I wouldn't necessarily go for darker shades they just close the eye even more. I would stay with medium tones higher and light tones lower. If you use to light of a shade under the brow like most people it bring the brow bone out more which is the opposite of what you need to do. so put the lighter shade on the lower lid to help highlight it and the darker up top to push it back and help it show. Also a colored liner will pop more.

I’m sold on Mineral Makeup..especially if you’ve skin issues, you do not need chemicals on your skin…I like the coverage and natural look…it is my saving grace because I refused to wear that nasty liquid foundation crap. And with your eyes, maybe try to do a smoky eye for effect. I skip the fake eyelashes and just use Maybelline XXL mascara..it really brings out my lashes…it is the first mascara that I have really been pleased with! Best of Luck!

Answer:
use mineral makeup as it is gentle yet effective in covering up redness, spots, acne, imperfections and other flaws.

for your eyes, use a darker shade on your lids and blend it out upward with a lighter shade. or you need to expand the area you are applying makeup on…

Answer:
wear darker eye shadow..

have you tried that healthy make up,

Answer:
