I would buy bare minerals because if you are just starting to put it on it is so pure that if you forget to take it of at night time it is ok. Just like the rest of their makeup line.

For the price, Mabelene and Loreal are very good. FYI, the Loreal eye liner that is "self sharpening" is really nice.
Answer:
I personally love Covergirl products, especially the Roll-up eyeliner in brown.
I tried the Maybelline mascara, both green and purple, and they both DO NOT work. They are very expensive too! I was deeply disappointed.
I'd suggest Great Lash mascara (the pink and green) it's America's favorite!
Good luck with makeup, its fun & challenging, too, haha.
Good luck hon.
Answer:
i use covergirl for eyeliner and the cheap $3 mascara from mayba. it works great and weirdly enough they were just talking about what works best on the style network and it turns out the cheap mas. and eyel. i been wearing all these years is the best lol
Answer:
I really like Lash Blast by Cover Girl. It has a plastic bristle brush that puts the mascara on nicely and doesn't clump. Just stroke the mascara brush from the base of the eyelash to the tip and be careful not to poke yourself in the eye….though you will do that several times in your mascara putting on life!
Answer:
goto a makeup counter (mac is VERY good) and ask them to do your eyes for you. It's a little pricey, but worth it, you can always get brushes cheaper elsewhere. But, any department store makeup chic should be able to give you some tips on what colors will look best on you, and their application. good luck
Answer:
i use maybellines blackest black mascara and mary kate and ashleys eyeliner in black. for foundation i use rimmels dream matte mousse with the triangle sponges. for eyeshadows i use whatever looks good to me.
Answer:
Cover Girl Multiplying Mascara!!! lol it's cheap and it works wonders because there's no clumps. I have tried so many mascaras like estee lauder, dior, etc.. but this one beats them all! ya so get it. eyeliner, hmm…well I use yves rocher eyeliners which are kohl not liquid. kohl is better because you can smudge and have a nice natural and if u want smoky effect. (always pretty), Estee lauder's eyeliners are good too but expensive, but it's up to u.
Eyeshadow definitely MAC, like hands down! lol OR NYX (I love the colours they have = amazing)
K well good luck!
Answer:

First of all:The NUMBER 1 rule of makeup is to NOT OVER DO IT!!! if you do, it will look reallly badddd…
As for mascara: If you have an eyelash curler, use that FIRST. Keep your eye open, and put the curve of the curler ofer the curve of your eyelid, and squeeze the handles of it so that it gets your eyelashes ontop of the top part of the curler . lol.
MASCARA: The BEST way for me, that i put on mascara is to keep my eye open, and sometimes tilt my head back so that when i'm looking in the mirror, my eyelid is slightly down over about half of my eye, but i can still see! (This way, there is a lesser chance that you will get mascara under your eyebrow!!) Lightly take the mascara wand, and drag it from underneath your eyelashes from the bottom to the top. (mite wanna practice) For the day, 1 to 2 coats should do it (I personally LOVE LOVE LOVE — BAD GAL LASH mascara. it's a fat tube, and you can get it at sephora. For less expensive ones, Target has a lot. try Loreal)
EYELINER: THere are a few ways to do eyeliner. MY favorite way that i think looks best is this:
Take your eyeliner pencil, and sort of draw a line across where your bottom lashes meet like the lid thing where it's kinda moist there. Put it right where they meet, sorta on top.
OR: you can pull down your bottom lid by taking your index finger, and put it about a little above your cheek bone and pull it down. Then, sorta color in the eyeliner on that moist part. The first way stays on longer, though. You can do 1-2 coats.
I LOVE Hard Candy eyeliner from Sephora, or Loreal has a really good one at target! lol. If you have darker brown hair, darker brown eyeliners can be nice.
for eye shadow: i don't usually wear much eye shadow. But when i do….i take a nice eyeshadow brush (try 2 find 1 thats actually called an eye shadow brush!) and lightly rub it around in the eye shadow, and close my eye, and apply a light coat (1-2, again!) above my eyelashes, and then a little over the rest of my eye lid, but not quite as much!!! (there are all sorts of colors!!! browns are good, and gold-ish colors. it all depends on your eye and hair color!!!)
I really hope that this helps! good luck!
(let me know what u think of my answer! :D)
Answer:
You get what you pay for and if you want to keep searching then go ahead and go to wal-mart or cvs and keep wasting your money! On the other hand if you want a good product that lasts and you want your money's worth then try Mary Kay. We sell an ultimate mascara that is just that, ultimately the best. We also have wonderful eyeliner. Send me an email I will get you started!!!
Answer:
i usually skip from one brand to another but i usually go back to using maybelline.
from maybelline i would recommend using sky high curls if you don't have the length.
Maxfactor masterpiece maxx is also good as the rubberised brush makes sure it doesn't go too clumpy on your lashes.
Currently i'm using fasio curl length which is pretty good (not sure where they stock in the USA but might have to order it online)
When you want to have nice curled lashes you have to use an eyelash curler (first). I use a plastic one which doesn't pinch my skin but it does the job nicely. Apply mascara in a zig zag motion from root to tip
