Do you think its a little crazy for a women to go months with out knowing she’s pregnant? Nothing taking a test and such. Ignoring the fact that she’s getting heavier? and to continue to smoke and drink heavily?

I did not know I was pregnant until 5.5 months, so I don’t think that it is nuts not to know you’re pregnant. I didn’t gain any weight, and was a college student who had 2 jobs, and was very busy. I had my period sporadically, and did not have any symptoms. Luckily for me (and my son and his daddy) I do not smoke or drink or do drugs so there was no harm done. I also have been taking prenatal vitamins for years (after the shiny hair/nails craze). As soon as I found out, there really wasn’t anything that I needed to change.
I worked in an establishment that serves alcohol and I remember one woman who was in there drinking all the time. She obviously had a problem. She was a bigger woman and had a tummy on her. She went in to labor while sitting on the bar stool. She ended up with a healthy full term baby boy. I was amazed that someone could be pregnant for so long and not know!

I had a friend that didn't know she was pregnant for 6 months. She didn't miss a period until then and she a tiny on the heavy side and didn't really show it until then. I think she was even taking birth control the whole time.
It's not crazy, it can happen. If there's no reason to think you’re pregnant there's no reason to take a test.
I've seen plenty of pregnant women smoking throughout their entire pregnancy (one worked in my building). Maybe they WANT their kid to have a low birth weight to make the delivery easier.

They may have irregular periods so they don't know that they are pregnant like women with regular periods. However they should notice the weight gain and all the other symptoms of pregnancy. Woman that have irregular periods if they’re sexually active should take a pregnancy test at least each other month so that they would know for sure. They’re irresponsible and it's not fair to their unborn child.

Thats hat what happened when my other was pregnant with me, she only had about 2 periods a year, with ovarian cysts, she used to get a pregnancy test done each month but ust gave up after 5 years, and my mom isn’t a small woman she’s pretty heavy. So she carried on doing her thing smoking and drinking, a week after a new years celebration she went to she was on a diet and ket throwing up went to the physician and found out she was 4 or 5 months pregnant, and I was born and even with all te drinking and smoking and advil from her migraines and steroid medication for her ms, she had me and Im fine lol. I was astonished hen the family told me this then I laughed and said wow, why am I not dead.

I think so. I wonder how these cases can possibly be true. I’ve had a women tell me that she did not know she was pregnant with her child until she went into labor and I still don't believe her. She had these things that were basically excuses. “Oh I was very active and very small so I never had periods. So not having periods wasn't new to me.”
Not having periods is a reason to see a physician.
And she swore she never got larger. Being a small waisted women myself I got pretty noticeable soon. I know all bodies are different but even with my preemie I was huge.
“I never felt it move.” And she never gave a reason for that. I know thick placentas can make movement not very noticeable but still! I can't believe these women.

i don't comprehend how some women will go without knowing themselve is pregnant until they go into labor, it is just fascinating to me. What i think is these women probably has a lot of health issues to start with and missing periods and getting heavier are nothing special to them … or they’re just very unconcern about their health generally.
