Well my sister(5) was caught showing herself to my boy cousin(5)who in turn was showing himself to her and other things along those lines.The two got in trouble but im wondering if other children do this to?

It wasn’t sexual, they’re just curious tiny children.
My children do that to their cousins too. we’d one time that they did that. Not a large deal, I wouldn't worry about it too much.
I do not think they should have gotten “in trouble” they should have been told that wasn’t ok to do in front of eachother but they shouldn't have gotten in trouble for it.

Most, yes. I caught my older son and the girl I babysat showing each other (they were both 5 at the time). I explained that privates are just that and that parents and doctors are the only ones that they show them to.

Yes. All kids do something of this nature. They “play house” and “play doctor”. Be sure to supervise them so it doesn't get out of control!

I don't know all young children but I think a high percentage would. It's just interesting, you know? Not sexual.
