well props to all those mothers that can get their child to shower. My daughter loves a bath but is absoloutly TERRIFIED of the shower…for what? I have no clue….she's just stubborn and has her reasons I suppose….but all she'll take is baths


Answer:
When they were born…….they showered with me. They started showering alone at about the ages of 4 & 6 (supervised).

I taught my son at about 4. Sometimes he forgets to wash his armpits thought.

my dd takes supervised showers (where i am sitting in the broom on the other side of the shower curtain)- she is 4 1/2.

i was 5. my niece and nephews started alone around 4-5.

My little boy started at 4. It is SUCH a time saver!! I still wash him up and shampoo him, but we are in and out in a quarter of the time it took to have a bath! He still likes the occasional bubble bath!

9 weeks to go until #2!!

Our daughter started taking showers with us at 10 days old. She hates baths and screams and arches her back to try to get out of the tub, but she will take a shower if her dad is holding her and doesn't get upset. I know that most people don't recommend showers for infants (as if we would ever drop her!), but it works a lot better for us.

When they were born my little g started 2 weeks my boy 2 days, I don't know it just happen like that now my son loves baths.

Answer:
My son took showers with me from birth. Now at 3 1/2, he likes to take showers by himself like a "grownup." I still stay in the room with him for safety reasons, and we also have a safety lock to prevent the water temperature from getting too high. As long as it gets him clean, I really don't care.

my son was 4 yrs old when he took his first shower… he was a couple of months old when i tried it and he screamed and cried so i waited till he got older before trying it again…
