Okay. Well last week my grandmother was taking a shower and she left mein charge of my 1 year old cousin Emmalissa. I was playing with her and singing to her and I picked her up and got her a bottle of juice. I put the bottle on the counter in the beedroom (which was like 2 feet away from the bad) then I put my cousin on my grandma's bed. I turned around to get the bottle from the counter then I hear a big boom and I look and my cousin had feel on the floor really hard!!! She was crying really hard and I feel so so bad! I feel like i'll never forgive myself for that! Has that ever happened to you???

Answer:
Oh honey, she will fall a million times. Lucky for us, babies are resilient and bounce back rather quickly. Don't be to hard on yourself. Just remember this as a lesson for next time. Put one hand on the baby while your turning around. If you have to move farther and your hand doesn't reach, put the baby on the floor, not anywhere high (bed, chair, counter, or table).

I remember my son falling out of bed, when he was sleeping when he was around 1. He was sleeping at a relative's house, different bed, not pushed against the wall.

I think it happens to most children, and she'll have a lot more falls and bumps, before she's much older.

It was an accident, so don't stress yourself out over it. It'll just teach you, just how quickly they have the ability to move, and that it only takes a split second for something to happen.

Answer:
That happens to everybody. My kid has fallen off the bed, fell down the stairs, has had a heavy thing drop on his toe and crack his toenail. Kids are constantly being hurt. The good thing is that children are very resilient. Don't beat yourself up about it. Those kinds of things happen!

Answer:
It hasn't happened to me but don't let it beat you up inside.
Accidents happen - and it's not like you made your cousin fall…
there was no malicious intent during the process…so you didn't do anything wrong.

It's ok. You'll be fine - and so will Emmalissa. (:

Answer:
my son was born yesterday and when i got to pick
him up i nearly hit his head on the side of the hospital
bed i felt really bad and scared.

but thank goodness he really didnt hit his head though.

Answer:
Yes, it has happened to me before. I lost track of how many times my son fell off the bed. Those boogers sure can move fast when they choose to.
