This is a video of the Teenage girl giving birth on a playing field in school, this is Leicester City Council trying the “scare factor” into kids having kids. The ppl in the video are actors and actresses.
Do you think this will work?

Answer:
Well, a while back my daughter heard (never mind saw..) someone on radio giving birth, in a play, and from being hardly able to wait to have children, it put her off having a child ever!

So I guess the answer is yes I think any such shock factor could scare kids out of ever wanting children at all in any circumstances. That is, it could put them off CHILDBIRTH for good, not just teenage pregnancy.

I wish the video-makers spent their money in a more constructive way…

By the way, I don't understand the people who replied it's stupid, people wouldn't be screaming like that - oh yes they would; of course they would!!!

Answer:
No it wont, we arent defective or retarded, well not all of us. But Im 18 and pregnant and happy the oly difference in me having a baby ad state a 30 year old is the number, same worries same resposibilities. Seriously, thats right if you are a pregnant teen then you cant make it to a hospital in time and must give birth in front of a crowd, mu ahhahaha personally that it disgusting and a major insult.

Answer:
The only answer to stopping teenage pregnancy is to remove the pressure forced onto teens to have sex as soon as possible, since that pressure will never be removed, there will always be teenage pregnancies. So no the video won't work.

Answer:
I really don't think it will work. Its a way of life for most of the young girls who do get pregnant and a lot of the time there’s a certain type. My neice for example is currently pregnant at the grand old age of 15. However we all saw it coming. She has been in and out of care for years her mum has never done any parenting and she just thinks thats all her life is worth and actually sees it as a positve thing.
In my thought its parents who need the lessons in how to install some pride, confidence, self worth and ambition in their kids.
Can I just point out before I get shouted at that I do comprehend that accidents happen, and also that young mothers can make good mothers. My husband and I didn't plan our eldest and I was only 18 at the time. But we were able to support ourselves and the baby and were in a long term relationship. Different kettle of fish to people like our neice.

Answer:
I think it will have ZERO impact. Teens make poor choices and go on impulse. If info and planned parent hood and scare worked i'm all for them but, the are not effective. It's a waste of money and time and was a bit stupid. I watched a real human birth video showing EVERYTHING at age 14 it didn’t stop me from having sex as a teen.

Answer:
Wow, I think that's pretty astonishing. I think if I had seen something like that around the age of 15, it may have scared me enough not to have sex then. I think it might work! Stuff like that isn't made up. I'm sure plenty of high school girls have delivered their babies without proper medical attention.

Answer:
i dont think its stupid , that could happen, shes a young mothe so what i know young mothers , but its the fact shes in school and people are makeing fun of it , you cant stop it when a babys coming out of you no matter were you are , so i dont think its stupid i think its really quite affective , im 14 and its shoked me ..

Answer:
That actually interrupted me!!

Everyone watching like it was some kind of freak show, is someone going to show that child later on in life how they came into the world…….I think its sick

This is certainly not how I’ll go about teaching my children about teenage pregnancies etc

Answer:
It won't work, simple as that.

If a child wants a child then it's going to happen and i don't believe any education or stupid video will deter that.

Answer:
what r they trying to say??…….she should have wagged school??

or encouraging children to do birth delivery courses in human biology??

Answer:
I don't think it will work unless you follow them around with the video and play it when they are about to have sex.

Answer:
AIDS/HIV doesn't scare kids, nor will this.

Answer:
I don't know i hope it does cuz a lotta young gurls are having children.

Answer:
Thats stupid. People would NOT be screaming like that. Stupid stupid stupid.

Answer:
They should really be trying to stop them doing what they were doing on the school playing field 9 months ago

Answer:
I'm 13.

Now I've Seen that I don't wanna have a baby for quite some time.

Thats going to work I think!

Answer:
Im 14 and thats scared the heck out of me…i think im gunnah adopt know lol,..

Answer:
WTF who da hell made that vid, it is retarded. looks like a crappin home vid for you've been framed, or funny bloobers.

Answer:
no this won't work

Answer:
Oh…that's just stupid.
