About two weeks ago I was having some pretty bad head aches. I was also very light headed and dizzy. The headaches have pretty much stopped, but I'm still getting serious dizzy spells where I think if I don't sit down right then, I'll fall or throw up. I'm not really sick to my stomach, but I do have that feeling a bit when I get dizzy.
I’ve not thrown up.
At night, I will get extremely hot for no reason and without having done any work(exercising, cleaning, etc). It's not just a “I'm hot” feeling, it's a really burning hot feeling. Even with the fan going full blast and the windows open to the cool night air, it takes at least an hour for me to cool down.
I've been pregnant only once before and miscarried at 3 months. That was about 7 months ago. When I was pregnant, I remember having some very vivid dreams that I could remember quite well. I've had a few dreams like that in the past two weeks.
My last period was the 2-5th of this month. My periods are normally on the heavier side and last the whole 7 days. The period I had from the 2nd to the 5th was VERY light (just some brown spotting) and only lasted four days. I'm expecting my period to be here some time on monday, so I have not taken a HPT yet.
Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Answer:
You sound more like you might be ill than pregnant, although your symptoms could indicate an eptopic pregnancy perhaps.
I think you should do a test and then go from there. If you’re not Pg then see a doctor about the dizzy spells and hot flushes, and if you are Pg see a physician to check all is well.
I had a miscarriage too so I know how worrying it can be, but you need to know for sure either way and then to see a doctor.
If it is an ectopic pregnancy then you need important attention as that can be very hazardous if left untreated.

If you're really concerned about being pregnant you can use first response or other early detection pregnancy test that can test up to 5 days before your period. I would also suggest seeing your doc if the dizzy spells persist. That's not something to mess around with.
