pelvic exam says im 6 weeks, blood test says im 12 weeks, and by doctor touching my stomach states im 13 weeks, im confused
Answer:
No, a pelvic exam isn’t accurate. A blood test isn’t accurate either. The best way is if you know your Last menstrual period, and then try and match that with an ultrasound. However, the ultrasound needs to be done before 8-10 weeks to be most accurate. Even now, would be most helpful. Even the ultrasound won’t be 100% accurate and can be off by a few days to even a week (this early, and later on in the pregnancy it can be off as much as 2 weeks). So an early ultrasound is your ideal bet. Good luck
