when u had a girl did u loose weight in the begning
every one i knoe who had a girl did and i wanted to see if it was true

i lost 15 pounds at the beginning of my first pregnancy and i had a boy. this time its another boy and the symptoms are WAY different. which leads me to think that there are no such thing as telling the gender by your symptoms. every pregnancy is different

Sorry dear but those are all just old wives tales. They aren't real. The gender of a baby can not make you’ve certain physical symptoms. I have four boys and every one of them were different. With the first one I wasn't sick a day, the second I was really sick the first 4 months and lost a bit of weight. With the third, I was sick every single day until delivered. I lost 20 lbs before I gained anything in my 6th month and had to go for IV fluids twice for dehydration because I couldn't keep anything down or in. With the fourth, I wasn't sick at all and only lost a couple pounds before I started gaining. With three I craved sweets and fruit and with one I craved salty foods. I carried 3 very low and one very high. The chinese calendar was wrong with 2 and right with 2. They’re all myths. I mean if you think about it, they’ve a 50/50 chance of being right.

I don't know about the weight thing (haven't really lost or gained any significant amount yet) but I heard that your nose changes when u have a boy.. Haha..
I know it sounds funny and I think it's funny too.. Well, my nose did change (it really did grow more massive and harder and with much more open pores) and my doc says it's a boy.. Well, I'll be able to confirm after tomorrow!
Anyhows, enjoying my pregnancy now and trying to have fun~ (Kinda tough when feeling so lousy.. =X)

I have been told when pregnant with a girl, you feel more drained. I’m guessing that also means you have worse morning sickness so it is possibly true… but all pregnancies are different. I don't think I know any who has had a daughter lose weight in the beginning.
