Hi,have any of you ladies ever had to deal with you face arms and legs going numb at all hours of the day? My face arms and legs have felt numb for about the last hour or so and this is not the first time this has happened. Every once in a while my hand or foot will swell to about two or three times it's normal size and go completely numb, this has only happened while I am sleeping, but if I wake up and move it around it will go back to normal and I’ll get the feeling back in it. If anyone else has had this I would love to hear your story. Thanks
Answer:
I get numbness in my hands and fingers, and tingles like pins and needles, but it is restricted to my hands. It could be carpal tunnel syndrome, a common pregnancy syptom which flares up around 20ish weeks.
The other thing it could be is gout. absolutely unrelated to being pregnant.
A couple of years ago my arms started going completely numb from the shoulder down, usually when I was sleeping, but it also started happening at work. I thought it was the way I was sleeping or my weight on that side ( I sleep on my side). After a while I went to the doc. After several blood tests it showed I'm apt to gout. Go and see your doc on Monday and explain the symptoms. A few simple blood tests will rule out a whole mutitude of issues and put your mind at rest.

Is this a pregnant question? If it is then yeah its happened to me….The physician said that it was probally from the baby sitting on a nerve….if it's not a prego question then Im not sure what it could be..Also if pregnancy is the issuse and you are retaining water it is a sign of preclamcia, call a doctor
Answer:
I haven't had this, but I would state to you call the dr. It seems like you might have a circulation issue, which could mean low iron or, high white blood cells… indicating an infection. Call!!
