When did I get pregnant?

If it says Estimated Conception: Sunday, March 8, 2009
and that im 4 weeks 1 day. then when did i get pregnant? on march 8 or 4 weeks ago?

March, I was confused about that one as well… I was prego since Dec.08 and due Oct.09 that's 10 months… But 40 weeks is 10 months… Crazy huh…? What happened is that the sperm can sit in you for weeks at a time…. So sometime in those weeks you got prego… Even with out having sex. It was already sitting in you and then conceived…. well your conception date and the date the pregnancy is considered from are different. The date you’re considered to be pregnant from is the first day of your last period. Am assuming was approximately 4 weeks ago. The conception date is the date the sperm fertilised the egg which will be about two weeks into your cycle. You would consider yourself four weeks pregnant.
