Do fair skinned people really bruise easier?

Do fair skinned people really bruise easier, or is it that you can just see more under the skin versus someone with more color in their complexion?

Its different for different people. I bruise easily…I'm kinda rough and I'm always fighting with the boys at school and if they pinch me or just grab my arm and hold it it'll bruise. My bruises turn purple, green, and black. I african american…just light skinned. A caucasion boy in my class isn’t easily bruised. He's always rough and never get bruised. So it's different for different people…<3

i don't believe that fair skinned people bruise easier because im fair skinned and so is my sister but when she used to hit me when i was aggravating i never bruised but when i used to hit her back she had big bruises. so im sorry this really doesn't help you but i don't think it has to do with your skin color.

I'm really really pale, and look even more pale due to dark hair and eyes lol.

I don't bruise at all - seriously it takes a very hard blow for me to bruise even slightly.

I think it's depends a lot on genetics :]
