How am I supposed to find a *good* place to get a brazillian wax if I don’t know anyone that has had one?

I don't just want to look someone up in the yellow pages, since that doesn't mean they are good. I just got my first one and I got it where I get my hair done (its a high end salon/spa) because I figured since they were high end they would be good and she was terrible. I won't get into how bad or what she did wrong… but suffice to say if they told me it was the first time she had ever attempted a brazillian wax I'd believe them.

Any ideas on how to find a place and make sure they are good? Thanks.

if u live in californai , Los Angeles, go to the city of arcadia, santa anita mall, go to JCpenney salon and make sure u ask for a lady called ANAHIT, she is the best!!!

Ask any of your friends. Usually going through them is a good way. I found one through one of mine. And like you the first time was horrible. It takes a few times before you begin to block out the pain of having your hair ripped from down there..lol.
