It's not going to be flashy or anything, in fact I'm getting it in white ink inside my wrist. I want it in French and I want it to be easy but meaningful. I was thinking of the typical words like fate, destiny, love, beauty, ect. I was thinking even of changing up this qoute, “When words fail, music speaks” to something like “When words fail, love speaks”. But I'm not sure. Any advice would really be appreciated!

That’s what it would be in French. I’ve no doubt it'd be beautiful and a lovely reminder to love always. It might be a little massive for the wrist, though, unless you're getting it teeny little.
What about something empowering? Yes, Strong, Independent, Lovely, … something like that? Maybe even a French phrase like “c'est magnifique” or something? I like the single word idea, but those words are so overused. If that's your thing, go for it. I think you might enjoy it better if you chose the word carefully to suit yourself superior.

my advice is to not take any advice. it's your money (tat's are expensive) and more importantly, it's your body. once you've decided on a a possible tattoo, try writing it on the spot where you want the tattoo in ink and walk around with it for a day, or two, or seven. take all the time you need.
it's your skin, your body and your tattoo forever. don't let anyone give you any advice except the tattoo artist.

White ink fades very swiftly, and doesn't even show up on some skin colors. So if you want to blow money on a tattoo that won't last, go right ahead. And I don't think you should ask for views on what should be on your body for the rest of your life, from strangers. Just give it all some thought.
