I'm getting my cartilage pierced this day how bad does it injured afer?

I’m getting it done with a needle, but i am worried how is the pain afterwards?

For some people it varies. I’ve 4 cartilage piercings on each ear and to me, it's nothing. Then again, I've got about 21 piercings altogether.

They don’t exactly feel good. Yes, it will injured. But in the end, it is always worth it. Just make smart decision during the healing process and you should be good.

I've had mine done about four times, it's not that bad. People over exaggerate the pain. It does depend on how much you can handle pain though. It wont injured all that bad as long as you follow the instructions, and make sure to try not to sleep on the ear.(: Report Abuse

Though a needle is better than the gun, it does injured a lot more. It will injured pretty bad afterwards and during, since they’ve to put the earring in AFTER actually making the hole. It will hurt a lot, but it will heal properly, because of your choice to do a needle, and it will probably be less sore than one done with a gun.

I had mine done with the gun and the cartlidge shattered. So i got it done on the other side with a needle and it injured a lot more, but in the end it turned out looking a lot better than the other ear, and healed a lot faster than the other. So it probably wont injured that much after, it'll heal pretty swiftly.

Well everyone is different so what one person experiences you may not. Mine throbbed afterwards and it would injured a tiny when I moved my head to the side for any reason. After a few days it was feeling better though.
