I was wondering if it would look dumb as a tattoo. I really like the idea. Okay, so I want a first tattoo that has MEANING and I was thinking of one to represent me, one that has my heritage. I have french, canadian, and irish in me. I was thinking of a flag with three parts, one part french flag, one part canadian flag, and one part irish flag. It would look something like this:

Or I might want to get like an eiffel tower (not sure about this one?), a maple leaf (like on the flag), and a clover representing irish, like blended together some how.

What do you think of these ideas and how it might look as a tattoo? No really rude comments please. Thanks!

Answer:
I like the idea of combining the different parts from your heritage. Just remember, color tattoos often fade. You might want to stick to B&W. Color tats might need to be touched up sooner than you think!

Answer:
I think it would look kinda cool

Answer:
do the leaf on your wrist,

or your heart

Answer:
No offense…but I would have no clue as to what you were trying to communicate. I happen to have the same lineage as you. Forget the Eifel Tower idea unless you are Parisian French. The maple leaf was recognizeable but from a Canadian French perspective. This is what I am. I have no tatoos and am too looking for the "perfect" first tatoo. My friend be even more creative and symbolic.

Answer:
oooh i like it a lot… speaking as 100 percent canadian i like it

Answer:
uhh i really wouldnt get that tattoed on my arm! u should get a leprechaun climbing the eiffel tower with a big maple leaf on top of the tower! that would be pimp!

Answer:
i love the idea of blending together you heritage but i also think that the flags may not be the way to do it because even thought it's awesome when you already know what it mean it could be confusing to people who don't know. i would think of something original from each of those countries and small in three separate places get them because their all your heritage and just like you tie it all in with your family you can explain how the tattoos are tied together just an idea from my point of view

Answer:
I dont really like the flag idea as a tattoo, but i LOVE your second idea…that sound really kool, creative, and unique. Go with that 1. GOODLUCK

Answer:
I love intricate, well thought-out tattoos. Mine are like that, you can see them at http://findyourink.com/gallery/index.php

A word of caution: The clover (not sure if it was 4 or 5 leaf) represents the Arian Brotherhood (prison gang).

Answer:
I agree with undrground a leprecon climbing the eiffle tower would look awesome hahahah =P

Answer:
sounds to random to be one tattoo.

Answer:
