I'm getting my nose pierced today….eeek, I'm nervous. :/
How badly does it hurt?

The nose, for sure. It will injured that your eyes will tear. Not because of the pain (maybe) but mostly because that's your sinus area so I think that's why. I know it hurt me. But the pain will go away in no time

The nose hurts more.
It's pretty painful for about two or three seconds. The eye on that side will water.
Whatever you do DON'T get it done with a gun! The needle is the only way to go. Call your health department and find out what tattoo parlors they approve of in your area. When the piercing is done, follow the directions they give you.
This area reacts differently to piercing than your ears because the mucous membrane is involved. Sea salt spray is the ideal for your piercing. Don't use antibiotic ointment - it traps bacteria in the puncture wound and will actually cause infection. It will also take a long time to heal. I believe they recommend leaving the stud in for at least 3 months before removing it for the first time. Good luck

It's all really depends on the piercer and your nose, if the piercer is good it shouldn't injured much at all maybe a little pinch (this is coming from my wife who has had her nose pierced twice) if the piercer is bad or they can't get a good grip with the needle and cork it's probably going to hurt like crazy, my wife the second time around state in the chair for like 45 minutes while they poked and prodded her with different size needles and different size jewelry.

nose hurts worse than ears, but it's really not so bad. My eyes watered a bit and it stung a tiny, but the actual piercing process wasn't bad at all. Be careful, though, because if you get one with a ball or a hook on the inside part (which you nearly have to, because they fall out easily otherwise), it hurts a lot if it gets caught on something (shirt, blanket) and gets pulled out.

Your nose hurts worse. It's not like an excruciating pain. It's just a very weird pop. It's ok. I got my done before. The needle that they stick through your nose isn't the worst part, the pain comes when they go to put the nosering in. But it's over really quick and then it doesn't hurt anymore.

depends on how you handle pain. my aunt does piercing and shes seen everything from fainting to not even twitching. on a scale of 1-10 (10 being worst) id state mine was a 6.5. but the 2nd day is worse.

I've done both and neither injured! It's just a momentary prick and then it's over! Be sure to tkae proper care of your new piercing though (as recommended by the person who gives you the piercing). Enjoy!
