This afternoon my brother came over after my and my almost three year old (2 months left!!) went to visit a daycare. He and his girlfriend brought her to lunch while I completed cleaning up the house. When they came back my daughter came up to me and stated “Mommy do you wanna be my ideal friend?” I was like awww of course!
Then my brother said “Can I be your best friend, too?” to my daughter. And she said nooooo. I asked her why and she said “Acuz he's a boy.” I was a little confused and said “Who told you you can't be friends with any boys?”
And she looks over at my brother, and him, his girlfriend and I just started cracking up. I thought it was adorable though, since I know when she's older he really will be telling her to stay away from boys. ![]()
