1 week late, and have been having cramping for a week.?

Not sure how soon I should try a preg. test. Never had cramping for a week straight before with no sign of a period. I am trying to get pregnant. Not sure what this means.

You can take a test now and it should be accurate.

You should use and early detection pregnancy test and test using first morning urine.

If the test is negative you should try and re-test in 3days [hcg doubles each 2-3days so give time to get higher levels] if the test is still negative you should wait a week and then re-test, should the test still be negative you should go and see a physician.

Cramping is a pregnancy sign as well as a pms sign. If you don't want to spend the money on pregnancy tests you can wait another few days or a week and see if your period comes.

cramping is usual in early pregnancy, but it is also common to have a ton of cramps with a late period. since your period is already late, i advocate you go to the dr for a blood test. good luck!!! =D

You should definitely take a test, probably try for the morning urine as it is the ideal but also remember that most tests can be taken at any time of the day.
