Is there always a 2nd line on Dollar Tree tests?

I tested early and there was a 2nd line nearly immediately, but it was very, very faint. I don't think it was positive. I mean… I didn't have to squint and hold it up to the light or anything, but it wasn't really pink or red… it was just…slightly darker than the rest of the test.

I know the digital tests are easier to read, but they're also a heck of a lot more high-priced.

I'm day 21, 9 DPO, and I've been sick to my stomach all day with heavy breasts. Thanks

it depends on what kind you got. if you got the kind that shows the positive as a line or as a plus. the dollar tree test i used just had a control line and then a positive line, if the second line showed up then it was positive..no line then negative. the test i used was the disk type, not the stick that you pee on. what kind of test is it?=]

EDIT: yep thats a positive! i had the ghetto rectangle one too =] lol. i felt like a scientist using that thing.

First off make sure you didn't accidently get the OPK, but no there is not always a second line on the HPT's. If it came up immidiately more than likely it is positive!!! The line is light because you’re still so early. If it was like past 10 min. before the line showed up I would state evap. but sounds like a BFP to me!! Good Luck! I am 9DPO this day too

I had the same thing with those Dollar Tree HPTs! I started testing at 8dpo, however, but didn't receive my BFP until 10dpo (which had a faint 2nd line). That was a few years ago. More recently, I had the same experience as you at about 9-10dpo. I thought it was a second line, but it had no color. Hang in there and keep testing every morning! It's inexpensive with the HPTs from the Dollar Tree!!

no, there isnt always a second line on dollar tree tests. one line means your not pregnant and two lines means you’re. ive taken several in the past 2 months (ttc) and all came back with one line (neg.) looks like your pregnant to me!
