I’ve been reading your questions and responses for months now and some of your stories just break my heart. 
I was on the pill for just shy of 10 years and went off January 3rd. I started my 3rd 'non-pill' period now and my husband and I are ready to begin TTC. I'm excited and nervous and scared all at the same time.
I just wanted to post to see who was in the same boat as me and to send as much baby dust as I possibly can to all my fellow TTCers!! Ideal of luck to all of you in 2009!

Awe thanks! good luck to you as well! We’re on our 2nd month of ttc. I’m waiting a few more days for hopefully a missed period! Once my husband and I decided to get pregnant we got so excited, and the anticipation is intense! I am not one to sit still while I wait! haha, so its hard, but i know when we find out we are pregnant, it will be worth the wait!!!!

My husband and I are only on our second month of TTC, yet I find myself getting aggravated by all the post saying, “I'm fifteen and pregnant! Help?” It just doesn't seem fair that so many stupid teenagers are getting pregnant unintentionally by making dumb choices and there are some of us who actually have to try at it- and so many for such a long time! Baby dust to all in shades of pink and blue!

I have only been trying for 2 years. I have had clomid and hcg injections. I find out this week if I got pregnant this cycle. It is my 4th round of clomid. They found one egg on my ultrasound, so I’m praying that my eggy gets preggy. lol Good luck to you. Thanks for the baby dust, sending loads of it back.

we have been ttc for about 7 months for a brother or sister for our daughter who is 2 in might, its crazy when you start trying how long it can take! but i try not to consider it as much as i can! i got another two weeks till my af is due…….

I'm on my 1st month of ttc, I got off the mirena IUD in January 2009. I'm due for AF in a couple days so I'm waiting to see if she'll come to visit this month.

I’m also in the same boat but was only on the pill for 1.5 years and have had one normal cycle and am hoping/praying that I have gotten pregnant this month (I had some spotting today). Good luck to you too!
