He took blood tests on the 11th of March. My FSH and prolactin levels were normal. My progesterone level was 2.3 and he said that is low. He said I did ovulate but it wasn't a good ovulation. What does he mean?

Answer:
Your progesterone is real low, which means your ovulation was very weak. It means that you ovulated (although, this is low for even having ovulated- usually 5 or above indicates ovulation), but your corpus luteum (which is formed from the bursted follicle and produces progesterone; stronger ovulation leads to stronger corpus luteums and more progesterone) is too weak to produce adequate amounts of progesterone to sustain the uterine lining long enough for successful implantation.

On a non-medicated cycle, you want your progesterone to be at least 10. Medicated cycles they like to see even higher. If you are being medicated, your doctor will likely increase your dosage and/or put you on progesterone supplements in order to better support your luteal phase. Good luck!!!

Answer:
It was a week ovulation. Are you on any infertility drugs? Maybe you need a "push" from maybe Clomid, where it helps with ovulation.

Answer:
Maybe there are irregular menstrual cycles. That's not a problem.A problem is if you have them too often. This could be a problem for you,to have babies.hmm.

Answer:
it just mean u did not get preg… when a doc say not good ovulation is no pregnancy ocurred………
