I am on day three of taking my Clomid, but I always heard that if you don't get pregnant within say three cycles it probably wasn't going to work for you. On here, I see ladies saying they are on their 16th and 17th cycle of Clomid. Does that mean 16 or 17 months of taking the drug?

Answer:
Usually the dosage starts out at 50mg the first month and then increases in 50mg increments until they find the point at which you are ovulating. If 50mg will make you ovulate you can get pregnant within the first three months. Sometimes it takes up to 6 months. After 6 months it's normally recommended to try something else.

Answer:
You can be on clomid at least for 6months before the doc has to stop but after a while you can go back on it

Answer:
You can go for upto 6 months because of the dosage, but must be recommended by a doctor
