Just tell your mom that it hurts when you urinate, dear. No need to offer any other comment or explanation. Urinary tract infections are not synomous with having sex. I have urologist friends who deal with young girls who have UTIs all the time…. I'm speaking about 7 or 8 year olds, DEFINITELY virgins.
Your having a UTI does not mean you've had sex.
You completely need to fix this up , though… it's only going to get worse. A UTI is a pain and annoying, but if it moves on and becomes nephritis, you could end up in toxic shock and in the hospital in short order.
